Growing up in Cork, Ireland, during the 1970s and 1980s, I found inspiration through a love of reading and film, which allowed me to imagine and appreciate beautiful interiors and bespoke design solutions, despite the city’s often drab reputation. My Mam’s ability to create a warm and inviting home with limited resources, combined with my fascination with my father's family pub's antique decor, sparked my early interest in residential interior design. My father’s role at a boarding school further exposed me to elegant and functional spaces, reinforcing my growing passion for creating modern and traditional designs.
After university, my travels broadened my interior design perspective, with significant influences from a school trip to Paris and a summer job in London. Frequent moves due to my husband's work allowed me to explore and decorate various architectural styles and luxury interiors, deepening my appreciation for home design and full-service interior design. This journey led me to formal studies at KLC School of Design in London, and now, with my children in college, I am excited to transition my long-time passion into a professional interior design career, building on years of experience in transforming spaces for friends and family, based here in Cork. I now specialise in offering a wide range of interior design services, from bespoke full interior design to residential and commercial projects.
